The following incidents were reported between 9/3-9/9:

9/3

Windshield smash 

The rear windshield of a car parked in a driveway of a house located at Las Tunas Beach was smashed, amounting to $500 worth of damages.

Sunny day shoplifter 

A suspect stole two beach umbrellas worth $50 from A&B plumbing.

Car crime 

A car parked adjacent to a seafood restaurant on PCH was broken into. The suspect stole two iPhones amounting to $1,000.

Burglar bail 

An attempted burglary occurred at a residence on Bonsall Drive. The suspect appeared to move in and out of the gate and removed a screen to a door, but the suspect never entered and nothing was stolen.

Sunglasses swipe

Two pairs of sunglasses amounting to $230 were taken from an unlocked vehicle parked next to Carbon Beach.

Surfboard snag 

A car parked at Topanga Beach was broken into after the suspect found the car’s keys hidden in a wheel well. More than $2,500 worth of personal items were stolen, including a custom surfboard.
