Today I witnessed an event that confirmed that our Malibu community can demonstrate thoughtful actions and work together.
I was driving to Zuma for a morning run when I encountered a traffic blockage. This caused a snail-like traffic procedure at Heathercliff. This occurred just when children were being dropped off at schools on Morning View Drive. The delay could have made all drivers anxious, but I witnessed drivers were courteous and allowed an orderly merging of cars. None of the aggression of normal PCH traffic, but instead, civil courtesy was displayed by all.
Working together when needed is especially necessary in a community threatened by natural disasters such as fire.
Thanks, drivers.
