Three Pepperdine athletes picked up NCAA Division I Women’s Soccer All-Region team honors, announced by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. Senior Hannah Seabert and junior Bri Visalli were both named for the All-West Region second team, and senior Rylee Baisden was named for the third.
Seabert, who has been awarded the honor for the second time, was also named the season’s WCC goalkeeper of the year after starting every game and leading her team to 11 shutouts for the year. The Riverside native also posted 77 saves this season, setting a new career mark and closing out her four years at Pepperdine with 331 total.
The honor is also a second for Visalli, as she was named to the third team in 2015. The San Jose native closed out the season with the second highest scoring average on the team, five of the goals being game winners.
Baisden was honored for the first time after finishing the season with an impressive 18 total points, making her the leading scorer for the Waves. The Yorba Linda native scored six goals, three of which being game-winning, and also led the team in assists with six posted.
