Malibu resident Leon Cooper continues his journey to keep honoring soldiers missing in action in World War II, Korea and Vietnam alongside Michael Roberts as “General MacArthur” and Director Steven C. Barber.

“Return to the Philippines: The Leon Cooper Sequel” will debut at the Directors Guild of America on Memorial Day, May 25 at 6:30 p.m. The sequel to the successful “Return to Tarawa” continues the legacy of 95-year-old Malibu resident Leon Cooper, a World War II veteran and Higgins boat commander in six major Pacific campaigns.

Narrated by Ed Harris and recently acquired by Netflix, the documentary follows Cooper’s plight in remembering the missing soldiers who have not returned from World War II, Korea and Vietnam.
