I am deeply discouraged by President Bush’s lack of compassion for the victims of Hurricane Katrina.
America used to be the land of the free; now it seems this only applies to those who can afford it. Please urge our government to set up an independent investigation of the events that surrounded this tragic mishandling of innocent lives.
This is not a “blame game” or a “race card,” nor a political smear campaign. All Americans should demand that this never happens again.
