The deadline to register to vote in next month’s presidential election is this Monday, Oct. 24 at 11:59 p.m. In addition to choosing Trump, Hillary or a third party, the Nov. 8 ballot includes city council voting, senate and assembly races, as well as various propositions and measures.
Registration may be completed online with a California driver’s license, state-issued ID card or the last four digits of a Social Security number, at registertovote.ca.gov.
Forms to register by mail may be sent to the LA County elections office by Oct. 24. Forms can be requested by calling 800.345.VOTE (8683).
Registration in person is also an option. Forms are available at the LA County elections office or any Department of Motor Vehicles office, as well as many post offices, public libraries and other government offices. These forms can also be mailed to the LA County elections office at P.O. Box 1024 Norwalk, CA 90651-1024.
