Sandor Vandor, Holocaust survivor and author of ST. ANNA REVISITED, presented the “Friedensmahnmal – Preis” (Peace Memorial Award) to Malibu Middle School students Sarah Stipanowich, Jacob Kagon, and Aaron Kagon. “Friedensmahnmal – Preis” is a worldwide essay contest for students enrolled in grades 8 through 13, and who are studying the Holocaust and inspired by reading the story of ST. ANNA REVISITED. For the 2010-11 school year, the 3 best essays were each awarded a 100 Euro prize.
