Malibu High School seniors Seth Rubinroit (left) and Mario Johnson hit the hardwood on Senior Night for their final home game against the Santa Clara Saints on Friday. Despite their valiant effort, the Sharks were defeated 66-48 by the Saints. As the only graduating senior to play four years with the school, Rubinroit said he would not forget his time spent in the program.
“Playing basketball has been one of the best parts of my high school career,” Rubinroit said after the game. “The support of my teammates and the experiences we shared will be something I will always value. This team has a lot of talent, and I’m sure that they will succeed next season.”
