The Malibu AYSO girls under 12 extra/tournament team won the Cottontail Country Classic, which took place in Diamond Bar, Calif. April 9 and 10. The girls were trailing early on, but rallied to win their first two games in the competition to make it to the tournament championship game. In the final game, the team pulled through to earn a 3-2 win in overtime against a team from Chino.
