The Malibu High School surf team won its second event of the season with an 86-31 pounding of Palisades High School at the Ventura County Fairgrounds on January 26.
Frankie Seely took two first-place finishes in women’s shortboard and longboard.
Henry Buckley claimed third place in men’s longboard. Tom Klane took third in coed bodyboard and Baron Hilton fifth in men’s shortboard.
The Sharks defeated San Marcos, 87-48, back on Oct. 27 at Mandalay Beach in Oxnard. The next event for MHS will be on Feb. 23 at Tower 22 in Santa Monica.
