Extreme athlete and Malibu native Johnny Strange will give the next lecture in the 2015 Malibu Library Speaker Series on Wednesday, June 17. The series, supported by funding set aside for the County of Los Angeles, the City of Malibu and the Malibu Library, will host Strange at the Civic Theater at Malibu City Hall, 23825 Stuart Ranch Road.
Strange will share about his experiences skydiving, wingsuit flying, base jumping, big wave surfing and climbing Mount Everest. He will also explain how he blended social activism with his extreme adventures. The audience will then have the opportunity to ask Strange questions. Complimentary refreshments will follow the event.
