Local kids interested in surfing are invited to come out and join the Malibu Sharks Surf Team. The team is open to kids in fifth through 12th grades and officially starts its season this week.
The Sharks hold practice twice a week—usually at Zuma Beach in the mornings and/or at County Line in the afternoons. While competing is not required, athletes who are interested will be able to compete about once per month.
