Malibu continues to be under a Red Flag Warning until Tuesday afternoon. The Los Angeles County Fire Department has warned of increased fire danger due to low relative humidity and strong northeast winds gusting as high as 70 miles per hour through mountain passes and canyons. LACFD has called up additional staffing and resources throughout the county. The fire department urges citizens in brush areas to report any sign of smoke immediately by calling 911, use extreme caution when operating machinery that can produce flames or sparks and report suspicious persons to law enforcement.
