Youths of Malibu United Methodist Church decorate vases to hold daffodils for elderly and ailing church members and members of the community at large.

Los Angeles area residents can fight back against cancer and share hope for those facing the disease by supporting the American Cancer Society Daffodil Days until Feb. 27. For $10-$100 donations, everyone can send a bouquet of fresh-cut daffodils to someone special to support the fight against cancer.

Malibu United Methodist Church has been supporting the campaign for several years through its junior high youth program. The youth decorate vases to deliver the blooms to elderly and ailing church members and members of the community at large.

Dollars raised through Daffodil Days enable the American Cancer Society to offer free programs and services that help people fight cancer with courage and optimism, while providing day-to-day help, emotional support and 24-hour information. More information can be obtained by calling 1.888.335.5868.
