Former Malibu resident George Coatsworth III died Nov. 15. He was 58.
Coatsworth was born Aug. 14, 1946. He grew up in Malibu. A music lover, Coatsworth was involved in many bands and groups starting in high school. He is survived by his wife, Kathie, mother, Honey; sister, Merry Coatsworth Jacques; brother, Cary; daughters, Marie Aquilar and Catherine and grandchildren, Alex Aquilar, Nicolas Aquilar and Makayla.
