As a part of the Emergency Preparedness Program, the City of Malibu held an Emergency Operations Center staff training this month to ensure the center is equipped to respond to large-scale disasters such as wildfires, earthquakes and floods.
The training was led by Los Angeles County Sheriff’s and LA County Fire departments, California Highway Patrol and included other surrounding safety organizations such as Southern California Edison and Malibu Search and Rescue.
