The 2XU Santa Monica RunFEST took place Oct. 19 at 8 a.m., benefitting the Santa Monica-Malibu Education Foundation and the Santa Monica-Malibu public school athletic and student programs. Runners from all levels were invited to participate in different distance runs, designed for runners of each skill level and age group.
Part of the festivities was a performance by the Malibu High School Chamber Singers, who kicked off the race with a rendition of the “Star Spangled Banner.” Malibu-based Dun & Bradstreet Credibility Corp. was one of the sponsors of the event.
