Senior Hannah Seabert was named the West Coast Conference’s Player of the Week after she helped the women’s soccer team take home the first place league title.
Ranked No. 25, the Waves grabbed the top spot after dominating San Diego, 2-0, and dominating No. 5 ranked BYU with a 1-0 victory. Seabert led the Waves to eight game shutouts in the conference, and did not allow opponents to score a single goal in four of those matches.
The Waves will defend their winning title in an upcoming match against St. Mary’s this Saturday.
