Malibu’s only resort-style residential community, MariSol Malibu, was named a Grand Award winner for Modern Marisol during the Pacific Coast Builders Conference (PCBC) Gold Nugget Show in San Diego — the nation’s largest regional conference and trade show for real estate development.
In a release from PCBC, “The Doug Burdge design achieves the Malibu market expectation of ultimate entertaining and ease of use. Furthering the design objectives, the home incorporates clear ‘pocketing in wall’ Fleetwood sliders and windows, smooth trowel plaster, limestone flooring and board-formed concrete wall accents.”
The $25 million MariSol estate renderings competed against top projects from Big Sur, Washington State and the Landry Design Group’s Santa Fe Ranch project.
