Malibu AYSO Teams End Season on a High Note

The boys AYSO U16 team took home first place at the Section 10 Finals in Bakersfield earlier this month for the second year in a row. In the final game of the tournament, Malibu won, 3-1, against Fillmore. 

“I was fortunate to be able to be around a group of very skilled and smart young men that rose to the occasion and played some phenomenal soccer,” Coach Scott Schoenberger told parent Dorothy Reinhold.

Meanwhile, the boys AYSO U12 team, “Big Daddies,” took home trophies at Malibu High School on Nov. 19.
