Griffin Lee York was born on Dec. 11, 2010 to Anthony and Andrea York in Sacramento, California. Weighing in at 7 lbs. 14 oz., he made a dramatic entrance by arriving much quicker than expected, leaving no time for the trip to the hospital. With mom coaching and the new father catching, Griffin entered the world at home, healthy and strong.
Upon arrival at the hospital, the new family received a standing ovation by emergency room staff in recognition of the successful delivery. Griffin is welcomed by his sister Lana, a large extended family and especially by his grandparents, The Malibu Times publishers, Karen and Arnold York.
