Award-winning actor, Malibu local and author Lou Gossett Jr. is scheduled to sign copies of his book “An Actor and a Gentleman” at the Bank of Books on Sunday, Nov. 24.Â
Beginning at 2 p.m., Gossett will be on hand at the Point Dume Village bookstore to sign copies of the book, which recounts his illustrious 60-year career as an actor, personal struggles and work as a Civil Rights activist.Â
The 30-year Malibu resident is also the founder of ERACISM, a nonprofit aimed at “[eradicating] the systematic impacts of all forms of racism by providing programs that foster cultural diversity, historical enrichment, education, and antiviolence initiatives.” See the video at left for more information.
