I am in the process of doing a documentary on the life of my father, Jean Leon, owner of La Scala Malibu 1979 to 1993. I’m looking for help in finding some of the customers that used to frequent the restaurant. A small portion of our customer list included the fallowing: Dennis Hopper, Lee Majors, Bruce Dern, Laura Dern, Suzanne Pleschette, Ali McGraw, Tony Franciosa, Ryan O’Neal, Robert Loggia, Tony Curtis, Michele Phillips, Tina Sinatra, Ben Stein, Arthur James, Jimmy Harris, Gay Talese, Regina Loew, Herb Alpert, Alice Cooper, Loretta Switt and Elizabeth Taylor and the list could go on and on. Any assistance in contacting some of these people would be greatly appreciated. I’m also in search of any photographs of either my dad or his restaurants that I might copy.
