Jon Krawczyk, an acclaimed fine arts metal sculptor from Malibu, appeared at the packed opening reception for his solo exhibit “Color in Bloom” on Saturday, Sept. 7, at the Leslie Sacks Gallery in Santa Monica. These are the first works he created since his home and studio burned down in the Woolsey Fire, inspired by the explosion of wildflowers in the months after the fire. Over the years, he has also done a number of commissions for large-scale public art installations around the country.
