The Malibu Senior Center is offering a “Funky Chickens” art workshop from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. on Friday, open to participants over 14 years of age.
The workshop, led by Lorelle Patterson from Art Trek Inc., will give participants the opportunity to draw “a variety of chickens and then fill the chickens with brilliant watercolors,” according to the City of Malibu.
“Funky Chickens” is one in a series of programs hosted by the city that are meant to enrich the lives of older adults in the community.Â
In addition, the city states, “this program offers a unique inter-generational experience in the hopes of encouraging art and creativity among residents of all ages.”
The workshop costs a total of $12 per participant, including materials fees, and may be paid for on the day of class.
