“Grinch” … “NIMBY” and “rude” are some of the more printable words used to describe the person who complained.

Traffic alert for Malibu drivers … it’s the annual traffic mess for the L-A Marathon.
The finish line … as usual … downtown Santa Monica… near the pier.
P-C-H will be the only way through Santa Monica … and will get crowded.

Two bald eagle chicks have hatched … in front of a streaming internet camera … on islands west of Malibu.
Viewers of the National Park Service eagle cams spotted the hatchlings over the last three days.
A third egg is cracking open … that little eaglet should be emerging today.
There are 13 active bald eagle nests on the Channel Islands this year.
Two of the nests are on Santa Rosa Island and five are on Santa Cruz Island, five are on Catalina Island; and one is on San Clemente Island.
Bald eagles historically lived on the islands off Malibu and along the coastal mountains… but they were wiped out by D-D-T residue dumped into the ocean from a factory near Los Angeles.
