Heavy-handed Saturn, the planet of discipline, collides with Mercury and the sun on the 26th-27th, advising us to have patience with obstacles and tread slowly and carefully into new endeavors, especially where communications are critical. Jupiter squaring off with Neptune adds a bit of idealism (or unrealistic expectations) into the mix as well. Next, the new moon in Aquarius on the 29th is an excellent time for beginning humanitarian projects or any group activity. During the first week of February, a powerful configuration that involves the sun-Mercury, Neptune and Jupiter-intensifies patriotism and religious devotion, but will up the urge to don rose-colored glasses. Additionally, a contentious Mercury-Mars battle on the 5th-6th challenges communications and travel.
