First of all let me say I am not a citizen, I’m a green card holder, so I didn’t get a chance to vote. But I am very excited about the outcome, very happy. Romney is a little too conservative and to the right, and too wishy washy for me. He kept changing his opinions. Whereas Obama, he came into a tough time and has done some good things, so I was happy with the progress we made. Everyone wants more progress, he’s done some good things.Â

I don’t know enough of either of the candidates but I see the pros and cons of both of them. Which President would benefit my life the most, being a low-income human being in this hard world, that would be Obama. But if I was making my own money, I understand the other side at the same time. So pretty much, I really don’t have a preference. I’m not really for either of them but I’m not really against Obama, if you will. So, more power to him and I hope the best is to come.Â

I felt like I fell off a five-story building when hearing the results. I was hoping for Mitt Romney to come in, some Republican blood, to get some manufacturing here on our land. I’ve been working a really long time, since I was 13, and I’m not going to tell you how old I am! But I’ve paid my dues, and I have to work six days a week to make less money then I use to make in five. This is not the way I want to live, this is not America, this is not the way I see America. When you get to my age you should be taking it easier. There’s something wrong, something needs to be corrected. On the other hand, if Obama can pull off the next four years and deliver his promises, then I’ll be okay. I’ll be happy.Â

I’m glad Obama won because I was real skeptical of Romney. We didn’t want to go back to the dark ages and I think we just have a better chance. Also, I’ve been a hard worker all my life, and I feel we should really trust President Obama because I really think things will get better in this next term. We can only hope, I’m keeping my fingers crossed.Â
