Malibu barefoot marathon runner Alberto Perusset completed the L.A. Marathon March 18 with a personal best time of four hours and 31 minutes. It was his 18th barefoot marathon and his 57th marathon overall.
This was the ninth consecutive time Perusset competed in the L.A. Marathon. Out of 18,881 runners who completed the marathon, 10 did it barefoot.
Perusset will compete next in the O.C. Marathon May 6.
