Point Dume Marine Science School fifth-graders took part in a unique field trip last week.
Through a program called “Together, We Are Able,” the students were paired up with special needs children for a day of integrated play at a park in Calabasas. They played, had lunch together and, after returning to school, the Malibu students wrote essays about their experience.
