Malibu High School student Juliana Ball and her horse, Philadelphia, won the championship tricolor in the Children’s Jumper 15 and Under division of the HITS Desert Circuit in the city of Thermal.
With Philadelphia, Ball placed first in two of the individual classes for the division’s championship. They placed second in the $1,000 M&S Children’s/Adult Jumper Classic and fifth in the $2,500 M&S Children’s Jumper Classic.
Ball also rode her other horse, Sjapoo, and placed first in the $1,000 Modified Junior/Amateur Jumper Classic. This was her second win with Sjapoo in the Modified Junior/Amateur Jumper Classic in three weeks of competition at HITS.
