Wind advisories are up for Malibu.
Areas of north winds 15 to 30 mph with gusts to 40 mph will continue through late tonight, then shift to the northeast early Tuesday morning.
There will be a slight decrease in winds early this afternoon … a switch to downcoast winds on the beaches.
But mountain winds will strengthen once again late this afternoon or evening.
Even stronger winds tomorrow.

Malibu high school is on spring break.
And the local school district again plans summer activities for elementary and junior high kids.
But none of them will be in Malibu ….
NOTE THIS STORY WAS CORRECTED TUESDAY MARCH 27.
The SMMUSD has not yet announced its summer school plans for Malibu schools. Its affiliated fundraising group, SMEF, has announced that all summer activities (non-scholastic adventure programs) will be in Santa Moncia and not Malibu.
