With Santa Ana winds surging along the Malibu coastline and throughout Los Angeles and Ventura counties, the National Weather Service has issued a Strong Wind Advisory effective until 2 p.m. Thursday.
Trees could also be knocked over because of a combination of 35-mile-per-hour gusts and wet, loose soils from recent rains, the NWS warned.
“The strongest winds will be over the Ventura County coastal plain and along the Malibu coast between county line and Pacific Palisades,” a statement said.
