Here we are in the midst of what fire officials are calling the worst fire season on record, with hundreds of fires burning throughout California, as well as one up on Mulholland, yet Joe Edmiston and his small band of hose holders want to bring the overnight camping issue back now through a questionable LCP override.
We must come together once again and show our strength as a community against endangering our canyons and mountains along with our homes and lives through such folly. One must question the sanity of the SMMC board and ask the obvious question. “What is so damn important about overnight camping that you will voluntarily choose to put our lives at risk?” Please, people. Whatever you do, show up at council chambers on July 14 at 6:30.
