Malibu High School freshmen Jade and Lana King started a club at the campus, “Stop the Traffick,” to educate and bring awareness on the issue of human trafficking. Throughout the course of the year, the club wanted to bring their message into classrooms. After getting approval from teachers at MHS and Principal Michelle Nye, the club led a workshop, “Empower Youth,” presented by Guido Hajenius, a representative of iEmpathize, to all of the ninth-grade health classes.
