Malibu resident Doug O’Brien (center) was recently honored at the 44th Annual Older Americans Recognition Day Awards Celebration by Los Angeles County Supervisor Zev Yaroslavksy and Cynthia Banks, director of L.A. County Community and Senior Services. O’Brien was honored for his ongoing service to the Malibu community. “Living Today for a Better Tomorrow” was the theme of event, which took place at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion and was hosted by the L.A. County Board of Supervisors, L.A. County Community and Senior Services, and the L.A. County Commission on Aging.
