I was very saddened to read that Allen Emerson had to pick up stakes and move to Soquel, California.
Allen and I became friends when he and Mrs. Ebsen formulated the Arson Watch. He would come by my sign shop where we would collaborate on the design of the magnetic Arson Watch signs. He kept ordering more and more of the signs as the organization grew. I will miss him dearly, just having spent a half hour with him having lunch at Gelson’s Market only three weeks ago. We have lost a dedicated and efficient community leader.
