Malibu and Pismo Beach resident Robert Coleman Pringle died on Oct. 13 in San Luis Obispo. He was 86.
Pringle was born in Dublin, Ireland. He moved to the United States in 1949 and married Olga Pringle in 1952. They remained together until her death in 1998.
Pringle was employed at MGM Studios and 20th Century Fox prior to his retirement. Friends say he was an avid reader and enjoyed expressing his artistic creativity through gardening.
A mass and graveside service took place on Tuesday. Pringle was buried at Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City.
