Malibu residents are being asked to donate items to be sent to troops overseas for the sixth semi-annual Packing Party.
Cindy Linke, a 2006 Dolphin Award winner, will be hosting the party at the home of Julie Post, located at 5810 Filaree Heights Ave., on May 22 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. To volunteer for the packing, call Post at 310.457.7034.
Items being requested for donation include sweets treats and DVDs. Also, money is needed to fund the $30 per box cost of each shipment. All donations are tax deductible. To donate items or money, call Linke at 310.457.4510.
