Banks of Books held a poetry reading and book signing featuring actor and writer Michael Madsen on Friday night. Madsen read from his book “Forecast: Expecting Rain,” his 9th book of poetry, which includes original photography. It was standing room only for attendees and visitors from as far away as the UK, who were transfixed as Madsen read heartfelt moments of his life experiences, the road not always easy.
Huge fan of Michael Madsen, Kate Cook spotted the Banks of Books event while in the UK and made a point to plan her vacation around it, “The highlight of my trip!”
