OLM School Hosts Third Trimester Awards

Our Lady of Malibu School hosted its third trimester awards on June 19, the last day of school. The recipients of the First Honors Awards, pictured, must achieve a GPA between 97 and 100 in all major academic subjects, including religion, math, English/language arts, social studies and science. They also must receive at least a B in other subjects — foreign language, computers, fine arts and physical education — and maintain an overage of O or G in behavior and work habits. 

Seventh-grade honors math students Jillian Neuner and Liam Mudd received first and second place math awards in a math league exam, respectively. The annual Math League Contest seeks to build student interest and confidence in mathematics.
