Our Lady of Malibu School hosted its third trimester awards on June 19, the last day of school. The recipients of the First Honors Awards, pictured, must achieve a GPA between 97 and 100 in all major academic subjects, including religion, math, English/language arts, social studies and science. They also must receive at least a B in other subjects — foreign language, computers, fine arts and physical education — and maintain an overage of O or G in behavior and work habits.Â
Seventh-grade honors math students Jillian Neuner and Liam Mudd received first and second place math awards in a math league exam, respectively. The annual Math League Contest seeks to build student interest and confidence in mathematics.Â
