In the first game of its kind in Malibu, the Texas Rangers middles baseball team played the Malibu Sharks majors softball team in a game of “Saseball”-a zany ballgame in which three innings are played with a baseball, and three with a softball. In a hard fought contest, the girls softball team was victorious with a score of 13-10. The coveted (homemade) trophy, held by the umpire, will reside with the Malibu Sharks until another team earns it.
