Chabad of Malibu held a menorah lighting ceremony in Malibu Lumber Yard on Sunday. Before the sunset ceremony, families visited with one another while snacking on traditional Hanukkah faire such as Sufganiyot (jelly-filled donuts) and potato latkes. There was a variety of fun activities for the kids including a puppet show on the meaning of Hanukkah and arts and crafts. A very popular balloon artist delighted the children by twisting balloons into all shapes and sizes. Rabbi Levi Cunin had the children help light the menorah to celebrate the fourth day of Hanukkah.
