Letter: The Shemitah

When the horrific attack on 9/11 happened, then President George W. Bush told the world America would rebuild and go after the ones who attacked the World Trade Center, wherever they were.

However, the better approach would have been “America has turned away from God and we must repent and come back to God.” Why? Because 9/11 was only a warning from God. Ancient Israel also rebelled and turned away from God. They were also first warned and then destroyed.

From the Wall Street Crash in 1987 under President Reagan, to the basement bombing of the World Trade Center in 1993, to the 9/11 attack, to the financial crash in 2008, there is a common thread through it all — “The Shemitah,” a 3,000-year-old Hebrew mystery. According to the Hebrew calendar, like the Sabbath each week, the Shemitah is a period wherein the seventh year is a year of rest for the land and a reassessing of financial matters. Debts were forgiven … a reset for the country. The above horrific acts all happened at strict time periods within the Shemitah. When we fall away from God, there is a debt to be paid.

As America now in good faith is negotiating a deal with Iran — a nation that, to this day, professes to plan the destruction of our great America and also Israel — there is a cataclysmic event coming because we are increasingly standing against Israel. The current Shemitah period ends this September. Please educate yourselves by going to YouTube and searching “Jonathan Cahn Shemitah 2015-16.” He very quietly spells out the history of the Shemitah and the historic judgment placed on all going against Israel and God’s will.

I have absolutely no doubt that all our leaders are doing what they find will work.  Only the above information I present is indisputable historically. No one has ever gone against Israel and survived. If all pastors and rabbis again would stand up for Christ and for Israel every day of the week, America would not be in the position we are in today.
