The Santa Monica-Malibu Education Foundation hosted the 11th For The Arts Concert to raise funds for Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District arts programs. The concert took place on Saturday, Feb. 7, at Santa Monica High School’s Barnum Hall. Cynthia Fox emceed the event, while Colin Hay, frontman of Men at Work, and Stephen Bishop headlined the show.
All performers were joined by student orchestra and choir members from Santa Monica, Malibu and Olympic high schools. Proceeds from the event will benefit various arts programs within SMMUSD, including recorders for all third graders, dance classes, additional music instruction and more.Â
