Malibu resident Dominic Scott Kay, 11, has the lead role as Adam Bilson in Disney’s “Snow Buddies,” which was released on DVD this month.
The film includes a cast of dogs voiced by famous actors such as Jim Belushi, Kris Kristofferson, Whoopi Goldberg and others. Dominic spent three months in the mountains of Canada during the shooting of the movie He played hockey and dog sledded, among other activities.
Dominic voiced the part of Wilbur in “Charlotte’s Web” and played Young Will in “Pirate’s of the Caribbean: At World’s End.” He has more than 25 films on his résumé.
Dominic directed his second short film, “Grampa’s Cabin,” last summer and is working on his first full length feature, which he plans to direct this year.
