Longtime Malibu local and star of the silver screen Robert Walker Jr. was memorialized at a gathering at the Malibu Playhouse earlier this month. The gathering, which drew a standing-room-only crowd of his loved ones, included heartfelt remembrances from his family and friends.
Walker, who amassed dozens of television and movie roles in a career that spanned three decades, was born in Queens, N.Y., in 1940 and died at the age of 79 in Malibu on Dec. 5, 2019.
