Malibu High School 10th-grade student and aspiring musician Timmy Thames recently released his first Christmas song, “Red and Green,” on iTunes, which also features Kendall Rucks.
A portion of the proceeds from the song will be donated to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in honor of close friend Christian Pierce, a MHS student who fought his battle with cancer as a St. Jude’s patient.
Beginning in December, 100 percent of the proceeds from the song will benefit the hospital.
Timmy is known for quickly becoming a fan favorite during the 2013 U.S. version of “X Factor,” and advanced to the top five boys of the competition before being eliminated.
Between various singing gigs at private functions and local fundraisers, he is working on recording his next few singles for release.
