Home Safety Lecture

A lecture on home safety will be presented in the multipurpose room of city hall on Thursday, July 26, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The informative lecture will be held by Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station Deputy Mark Winn on “how not to become a target.”  The free discussion on safety will help attendees to learn tips to prevent home invasions or stolen property.

On Friday, July 27, the Malibu Senior Center will be holding their free preparation of the monthly newsletter from 9-11 a.m. Food and refreshments will be provided for those who help out.

The Market Beat

A free discussion will be held about the overview of the current economic state in the Zuma Room from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. on Friday, July 27. The discussion, facilitated by Kal Klatte, gives insight and better understanding of where the stock market and economy are headed. Questions and comments are welcomed.

Yours Truly – Storytelling

The Senior Center will hold its weekly storytelling class on Wednesday, Aug. 1, from 1:30-3:30 p.m. The class gives seniors a social opportunity to share and learn stories, and goes from $16 for eight weeks.
