EE failed. I’m glad. Anti-kid? I think not. I raised a gaggle of children who went to private schools so, in effect, I have been paying twice for years-for both public and private education. Stop turning to property owners to fund programs like this. How about this idea instead? Ask each parent to ante up $10 or $20 or even $50 a year per kid. That should make a nice slush fund. It’s a pittance when you compare this to what Mom and Dad spend on big screen TVs, beauty salon visits, fast food and SUVs. Come on! It’s for the kids!
